Its all about the beautiful Pacific Ocean, in all its power and glory!

This area of the West Coast is a must see. Many campsites and motels and hotels for all budgets. Same for food.

When driving on 101 about 2-3 miles north of Brookings, OR, there is a turn-off for Arch Rock. It overlooks the ocean and there are bathrooms. It is a small hike down to visualize Arch Rock and the view is awesome! Hike is easy-

This is a series of turnouts and state parks along the Oregon coast. We stopped at several and was surprised every time with some new amazing sight. Several hikes and picnic areas. Some had restrooms. But all were beautiful!

This sprawling park is just excellent, but what would one expect of the Oregon Coast. Beautiful scenery, numerous hiking opportunities through the rain forest, secluded beaches .... what's not to love?!

Over the coarse of the park the are several stops with views and short hikes to lookout points or down to the coast. The coastal views are awesome. Also there are plenty of picnic and restroom options. You could easily spend a day exploring the various options. We stayed in Brookings which was convenient.

Fortunately, I researched ahead of time, to know to stop at all of the places in the 12 mile long area on the PCH. Arch Rock Viewpoint, Natural Bridges Cove, Whaleshead Beach, House Rock, Cape Ferrolo, Lone Ranch. Some beautiful scenery! It... More

No better place to visit and get a feel for the Oregon Coast. Best of all it is free. We just happened to see a review of this park on a local TV channel and so we decided to visit. You could easily spend days here with all there is to see and the numerous hiking trails. There is easy... More
