We took the trail to see this bridge, which is the highest in Oregon, but the payoff at the end is not great, as the view is mostly blocked by trees.

Drove thru this bridge on our way to CA. Nothing special about the bridge. Nice area to drive around and enjoy the coast

The viewpoint trails on either end of the bridge are nice little hikes. As for the bridge itself, you really wouldn’t want to walk out to look over the sides, the highway is busy and narrow.

Being the highest bridge in Oregon, you would need to hike the Oregon Coast Trail to get a close up full view of the bridge in order to appreciate how high it really is. The trail begins from the carpark. Otherwise keep driving and as the road curves you will have a full view but from a distance.

If you drive this section be sure to look down. It is very similar to the bridge that went to Big Sur on the California coast. Only here everything is intact and still beautiful.

This bridge is the highest one in Oregon (I believe the highest one on the Pacific Coast north of San Francisco). But it's difficult to get a great view of it. Our guidebook said that it was a "short walk" from the parking area south of the bridge to view it. It was more of a hike, on the Oregon Coast Trail, close to half a mile with ups and downs and a little mud, to a spot with an area where we could see the bridge of itself (through the trees).

Our family enjoyed the adventure of following the trail and looking for the bridge, but I wouldn't call it a must-see or something that you need to take time for if you are pressed for time.
