This park is lovely. There aren't a lot of parking spaces and the residential street is a quiet one so there's never many people. The old Hollinshead cabin is still there and if you ever get a chance to take advantage of the open house usually held in December, do so. It's eye opening to see how people used to get by in such small quarters and what they had to do to get by.

One of my favorite Bend parks. Hollinshead has a community garden managed by the OSU extension of master gardner's, off leash dog area, orchards, open fields, picnic space, the Hollinshead Barn which can be reserved and rented for functions and weddings. Plus awesome sloping hills for sledding in the snow ❄️. Truly a crown gem donated by Dean and Lily Hollinshead to the Bend Parks and Rec for all of us to enjoy. Visit Bend Parks and Recreation online for Barn reservations and info on getting a garden plot. Enjoy

I adore this little park! Theres a little park bench under a massive weeping willow that is the perfect place to take it all in. The park is small and hidden in a quiet neighborhood so its filled with mostly locals and people bringing thier dogs to run off leash. Lovely little community garden too!

I take my dog there all the time.
They have an off-leash dog park, people get to know one another, it's like old friends week.

One of the Hollinshead daughters and her husband donated this to the parks department and fully restored the property. Open for tours by appointment. The park grounds is lesser used than many Bend parks and is a wonderful place for a picnic.
Lots of grass and big trees for shade on a hot summer day. If I were visiting and looking for a place to get out of the car and eat my lunch, this would rank high.

Had the pleasure of attending a wedding here and it was quiet and just the right spot for a small wedding. There is a nice side yard for extra seating and the caterer, plus there is a small little kitchen for washing up, but it isn't big. The park is great for walking your dogs and we noticed they have a community garden there, which we thought was pretty cool. The bride's family said they rented this through the Bend park department.
