I almost hate to tell anyone about this place. This is my go to for my little kids on the hot summer days. Hidden around the bottom path, by the little lake/pond, is a perfect watering hole. At the top it’s like a city fountain multi level square pools, akin to very tiny Ira Keller fountain, but it cascades down into is man-made mini waterfall going under a bridged walkway, and down further into a quaint little waterfall pond feature. All this looks out over the pond, and is just beautiful in the evening glow. The water is not deep at all, though it is very cold, but still perfect for a little kids. I fearfully say it seems to be like a hidden gem, every summer evening I’ve taken my kids there it’s been relatively uncrowded. Grant it this is usually my weekday venture, given that is so close, and we don’t have to go to downtown Portland.

Love meeting her for a walk taking the stairs up behind the theater then around the lake is a nice loop a couple of times then stop for refreshments at the Woodfire Pizza to sit outside in the sun.

"Park" is a pretty generous term for this pond next to a shopping center. It is lovely to walk around and a great place to get the kids' wiggles out while waiting for a table at one of the nearby restaurants.

It's a nice place to bring a pic nic and sit. There are many resturaunts around it to get food and sit by it .My favorite is the Garden Bar. We saw an eagle flying into trees next to it last summer.

I was surprised to see this lake in Trip advisor, I would not really call it a lake or a park. It is a man made lake at one side of a mini mall, it adds nice ambiance to the restaurants that are by it and has some benches and a water feature in the summer. Nothing to make a special trip to see in my opinion! You can't really walk around it, some people have tried to fish out of it so they must keep it stocked but there isn't much of a bank. Half of it is sided by a steep hill/cliff.

I had arrived way too early for the film I wanted to see at Cinetopia. So I walked around Progress Ridge Plaza and was surprised to find a small lake right next to it on the west side. I had a paperback with me and found a bench in the shade. I sat and read and gazed out over the lake and the people gathering to enjoy it.
The park is about 19-acres in size. has several benched. a floating platform or dock. I watched a few teens taking turns diving off it into the lake. A couple walked hand and hand along the paved path along the eastern part of the lake.
from the sidewalk at the street you can walk down into the park right by a cool fountain. It runs down hill and is designed like a down hill stream ending in a pool of water. Several small kids were climbing into the water to cool off as it was a very warm hot summers day.
I saw a kid with a fishing pole. So I am guessing that their might be fish in this lake. Or at least the kid seemed to think there might be. in either case this is a nice gathering place and is a relaxing place to just sit and watch the world go by. Or even just sit and read a book to kill some time in pleasant surroundings.
The park is open from 5 AM till 8 PM.
