Be sure to take the time to walk down the long Cliffside staircase to this amazing beach. Low tide is best to find the hidden caves in the rocks, small critters in the pools around the rocks and the sights, sounds and smells of the raging surf!

This is accessible to all travelers. Although there is a path leading down to the beach, it is a very long hike down and back up. Farther north (nearer to the lighthouse) we found a public beach access in a residential area. It required little effort to get onto the beach and see these monolithic beauties up close.

When I pictured our Oregon coast trip this is exactly what I envisioned! I LOVED Bandon and the Face Rock area as a whole. There are sandy beaches, sea stack rocks, tide pools etc. The overlook provides the perfect place to photograph from. They keep the beaches clean and free of garbage and there was a restroom there as well.... More

We had a wonderful time visiting the beach here. The rock formations were really unique. It was a neat little spot to visit. We would go back again if in the area another time.

The view from here was wonderful, which is the whole point :) We were alone here for the most part. Quiet and peaceful.

Bandon beach is one of the most spectacular beaches on the Oregon coast. Face Rock Scenic Viewpoint is one of the two public access points for the beach at Bandon and the only one with public restrooms. You will often find photographers here at sunset. This beach features an amazing set of sea stacks. The beach is broad and flat... More

Amazing views of the Oregon coast. See the circles in the sand drawings and access the beach. A must see.

The beach and rock formation of the Face Rock area is really special. Walking down on the sand beach, it is harder to see the actual Face. But from the scenic viewpoint, it is easy to pick out the face from the rocks. Great place to visit.

Great views from here, plus you can walk down to the beach on the path. Facerock is always a treat to see and places to eat are close by.
