We stayed in park at Old circle campground site 36. It is a wonderful spot that feels secluded. Your not right up on top of your neighbors. Beautiful pines and lots of shade. We didn't really use the bathrooms but did walk in to check...More

This place is and has things you will only find in this area of the country. Robbers Cave has alot of history that is unique to American History. The state park has alot to offer and a little bit of everything.

The worst set up I have ever seen. Do not take kids to ride. Visited with six groups of people (several with experienced riders) & all said they'd never come back. The video shown on YouTube is a bunch of bull. One family came from...More

The park has lots of water and a swimming area, and in spring through early fall must be lush. We visited in December, so our expectations of nature were not high, but we very much enjoyed the walk through the cave area which ended up...More

We made a day trip to explore the park, especially the "robbers cave" that the park is named after. Many trails were left unexplored by us (due to lack of time), so take this as a limited experience rather than the entire park. If you...More

I did not see animals or pets on the pay hayride we took. I doubt they are allowed. You wouldn't want your animal to fall off the wagon or get squashed by a rider or have it inadvertently bite a rider. They are allowed on... More
