This lovely peaceful park is a great place for a picnic, some exercise or to just look at the rose garden. One year we watched the fireworks from here.

Just getting out in the spring air at this park while everything is in bloom will just take you away to a softer feeling in a harsh city. The flora in this park is just breath taking.

Definitely a must see. I went in october and it was gorgeous, although I think the spring time when all the flowers are in full bloom would be much better.

The par is not very bike friendly especially for a child. The River Park might be a better place.

Yes, no problem. Best on a leash. Lots of squirrels. Excellent place for a small dog. There may be big dogs too. They are supposed to be on leashes though.
