I love this art museum. It is not huge, but it has some nice pieces and the best part it is in a former oil baron's home. The gardens in back are totally worth checking out. I would go back again.

The best museum in Tulsa, is tuck inside a beautiful icon neighborhood in midtown. It has one of the best collections of art in an historic oil barron's past residence. The grounds in the spring, summer and fall are just as impressive as the art...More

The museum would've been an overall great experience had it not been for the mean security woman wearing a T-shirt, who yelled down at us from a second story floor to leave because museum is closed. It was 4:40 p.m. -- museum closes at 5...More

Once the home of an oil baron, the Philbrook retains some of the tone of a home and yet offers galleries that are filled with treasured items, including stained glass. The museum has a contemporary feature in its exhibitions, for example the WWI centennial exhibition...More

The Philbrook is located in the center of a beautiful Tulsa older suburb. It is an old mansion with extensive gardens. An outside stroll is as delightful as the interiors. Look for the cats!

At any museum, the amount of time someone needs varies by person. Having said that though, it is not a huge place. There are really just three floors of exhibits, all on the smaller side. An hour inside is ample time. We... More
