Not happy having trekked through the mean streets of Tulsa to find this iconic building closed. Not on! At all! Not impressed! The outside looked pretty good is about all that I can say that's positive.

We were just driving by and stopped to take a picture. A nice gentleman invited us inside and it was so amazing we stayed 2+ hours on a Tuesday afternoon. You could sense God's presence there. You could see thru their literature there are programs, classes, volunteer, and worship opportunities for all ages and walks of life. Their arms are... More

Entirely worth a visit during the week to wander around the large, beautiful church. I think it's the best stop on the deco architecture of Tulsa circuit.

This is a must see building in Tulsa. incredible structure with tremendous detail. it is stunning. At first glance it looks gothic. But take special note of the details at the top of the spires---praying hands rather than gargoyles.

One of the highlights of this church is it was built during America's Great Depression. This one of Tulsa's great churches with multiple services in downtown Tulsa.

Boston Avenue Methodist Church may be the most photographed buidling in Tulsa. Built in the 1920s, the moderist look never ceases to amaze. A very progressive church, Boston Avenue is as alive and important to the Tulsa community as ever. A great place to visit and tour.

We had heard that anyone interested in art deco period architecture should not miss this church while in Tulsa. What we heard was right on the mark! Beautifully designed, and wonderfully kept up. The staff were friendly and this space proved to be a spiritual visit for us, in every respect.

I was not expecting the grand sanctuary when I walked in there. I was amazes at the details of the stained glass and how really large the church building was. The group I was with was singing it's praises.
