Amazing restoration. This Cathedral was almost destroyed by the Murrah bombing. The statue of "Jesus Wept" is memorable.

Visited here because I saw some of its history at the OKC National Memorial. Beautiful and serene in a busy city. Wonderful architecture. Reminds you to take a moment to be grateful and thankful for each day we are given.

The pastor seems to think we are living pre-Vatican II, and it's rather off putting. I miss when Father Bruce was there, that was Christ's love in action.

Beautiful St. Joseph Old Cathedral is a historic cathedral located directly west of the Oklahoma City National Memorial. St. Joseph Cathedral placed a sculpture of Jesus entitled "And Jesus Wept" across from the Oklahoma City National Memorial. St. Joseph Old Cathedral with the sculpture of Jesus is the next place we take visitors after they see the Oklahoma City National Memorial. Words cannot describe the statue of Jesus, with His head lowered and Jesus turned away from the bombing memorial.
St. Joseph Old Cathedral was on the National Register of Historic Places before the 1995 bombing of the federal building in Oklahoma City. After the bombing, the heavily damaged cathedral was closed for almost 2 years. Highly recommend visiting this beautiful cathedral in Oklahoma City.

I like old churches and this one looks old. It’s got a decent amount of detail and is well done and maintained. It’s enjoyable if you like churches.

This beautiful Old Cathedral has survived the Oklahoma City bombing of 1995 right across the street when the building was destroyed. The beautiful stain glass windows were replaced as the original were blown out. Don't miss the beauitful statue outside of "Jesus Wept". It all is very movimg.
