We had a great time at this museum. The regular exhibits were interesting enough, and were organized on the basis of theme (the sea, publicly funded art of the 1930's, international travel, portraits, etc.) There were 3 special exhibits, 2 of which were great-1. an exhibit on Rodin (which included some of his paintings as well as his statues, and artwork from Monet, Sisley, Gauguin, and Cezanne). Highly informative, useful for understanding the man and his work. 2. A solid collective of Chihuly glasswork, quite impressive. The Rodin exhibit is ending soon, but the Chihuly exhibit goes well into 2024! They have a small cafe with limited offering, which were fairly good. The gift shop was good. Overall, a very good museum.

This art museum is the perfect size with enough artistic styles to satisfy a variety of artistic tastes. And you can see it all before you hit your saturation point. The Rodin exhibit (temporary) was incredible but my favorite was the Chihuly section. Well done!

Our family visited the museum on Sat. 3/23/24. We were there primarily to see the 'Raven and box of light" exhibit which was excellent. We arranged for a tour (min. 10 people) through the museum and loved the tour. We found the tour very helpful (thanks Tori for the great tour and Destiny for helping us schedule it). The museum has a great and very large collection of Chihuly glass which we thought was great. There are several other types of glass work exhibits and a good sized painting exhibit area. Overall we spent about 3 hours in the museum, including the tour and it was well worth it. If you are in OKC this is a must do.

Visited to see the Edith Head exhibit specifically. A definite must-see for anyone interested in costume design or the golden age of Hollywood. Superbly designed exhibit which speaks the quality of this museum. Helpful staff who take pride in their work.

We went for the special Edith Head exhibition and it was fabulous. The dresses were amazing and the short films so interesting. The Chihuley glass is a permanent exhibit and a wonderful opportunity to see the whole spectrum of his work

Drove north from Texas to see the Edith Head exhibit. Wonderful exhibit. The bonus was the Chihuly exhibit! We knew that has some pieces but no idea it is one of the largest. The museum store includes a bar with coffee, cocktails & food.
