This was only a drive by and we saw that the building is undergoing renovation and it was also on a Sunday morning and it was closed. A thing of note is that there is an oil Derrick on the front lawn.

Don't arrive after 5pm because the visitor's center is closed. We were able to hear some congressman duke it out over state policing issues. It was interesting enough for my boys to see grown ups in "nice clothes" to squabble. The capitol is under renovation...More

Our family enjoys visiting State Capitols and the volunteer who gave us a (private!) tour was knowledgeable and friendly. Unfortunately the capitol is in year 2 of a 6 year renovation project so the walls are barren (all the art was removed to protect it)...More

I liked it better before we wasted tax dollars on the dome. It still has an interesting interior filled with bits of Oklahoma's history.

Have visited the capitol a few times. However, probably not the best time to visit due to construction. I would not recommend until the remodel is done.

There is parking to the south of the capitol and to the east. From the east side there is a tunnel you can us.

The guided tour lasted about an hour. We were there about two hours, total.
