This was only a drive by and we saw that the building is undergoing renovation and it was also on a Sunday morning and it was closed. A thing of note is that there is an oil Derrick on the front lawn.

We love visiting State Capitols when we are travelling. We arrived at a bad time on the weekend so we could not tour the inside of the building, but there is plenty to see and do outside. Some really cool photo opportunities especially with the...More

Don't arrive after 5pm because the visitor's center is closed. We were able to hear some congressman duke it out over state policing issues. It was interesting enough for my boys to see grown ups in "nice clothes" to squabble. The capitol is under renovation...More

Our family enjoys visiting State Capitols and the volunteer who gave us a (private!) tour was knowledgeable and friendly. Unfortunately the capitol is in year 2 of a 6 year renovation project so the walls are barren (all the art was removed to protect it)...More

It was really pretty seeing the capitol. However we didn't go in, but there was a lot of cool things around it too.

I’m an advocate in the Oklahoma City area, so I’ve become a regular at the state capitol. But the millions of dollars in renovations have made this beautiful building more than a place for keeping politicians accountable and passing bills. There’s a museum and gift...More

I liked it better before we wasted tax dollars on the dome. It still has an interesting interior filled with bits of Oklahoma's history.

Have visited the capitol a few times. However, probably not the best time to visit due to construction. I would not recommend until the remodel is done.

Visited in late summer... grounds are very nice, and what I saw of the building was nice. However, with the construction, I didn't get to see much of the actual building - definitely a shame, as the parts I was able to see were nice.
