I have visited many state capitol buildings and this one was the least impressive. There was not different or usual about the building. It has the usual dome, but nothing outstanding.

Having seen many State Capital Buildings, Oklahoma's Capitol is unique among state capitol buildings due to the amount of artwork adorning its hallways and rotunda, and beautifying its grounds. Comprising the Capitol Art Collection are more than 100 permanent sculptures, murals and paintings located throughout...More

We had the best outing today taking the great-grandchildren to the Oklahoma State Capitol! Even though it is under renovation it is still worth your time! We had the best tour guide, failed to remember her name but she was a retired school teacher, and...More

Visited a few weeks ago and I was surprised at the beauty of the building. The grounds were also lovely. The paintings and murals are very impressive! Although several areas were off limits due to a renovation, we enjoyed the visit. We would like to...More

The building is absolutely beautiful! They are going through renovations so hopefully it'll be better. The main paintings are mostly gone but the art gallery they had was interesting. Fun gift shop also!

Even though it's under construction on the bottom floor it doesn't hinder the tour. The State Capital is beautiful, and there's an art museum and statues throughout.

Most people aren't into history like me but a trip to the state capitol is a must. The rotunda is surrounded by beautiful paintings and murals. You can walk into the both The Senate and House chambers and watch history being made. You can see...More
