I really liked the scavenger hunt idea...upon arriving at the museum they gave us a worksheet of questions that were tailored to ages. I had a ball with my 7 year old trying to find the clues in the displays. The best thing my kids talked about what they learned for days....

this museum is really interesting and so many different skeletons. The only problem is the business where they handle the dead remains is next door, and you can smell it very strong. Smells like death.

Hello, thank you for visiting our museum and sharing your review. We are in the same parking area as our parent company Skulls Unlimited International. Skulls Unlimited provides schools, colleges and nature centers with skulls and skeletons from all around the world; at times during process the smell escapes the processing building. We apologize for the smell you experienced. More

Many years ago a friend took me to the precursor to this museum. It was fascinating, if a little grubby. Their new facility is outstanding! How could you not be fascinated by the inner workings of all types of animals? The skeletons are beautifully displayed. The parent company is a leading supplier to taxidermists and museums worldwide. Do not miss... More

The basis of the museum started from a small child's science project and has evolved into a family business. From the outside, the museum looks quite small, but you can spend several hours in here. There are 2 floors with elevator access. All of the skeletons finish the cleaning process by being put into a container of flesh eating beetles... More

I started out a little squeamish with actual beetles "cleaning " cat skulls. But once that was over, the tour wasn't creepy. Definitely suggest getting the kids to do the Scavenger Hunt...even helped the adults stay focused. Allow 2 hours When the kids turned in their answers at the gift shop, they got to pick a treasure from a treasure... More

This was a little off the beaten path from where we were staying in Downtown OKC, the drive was definitely well worth it. When you can stop two boys in their tracks to complete a scavenger for the promises of a "prize", its a win-win for the parents. Plan to spend about 1 1/2 to 2 hours here to thoroughly... More

This fall we went on 22 state vacation. This museum was THE highlight of our little tour. You can spend hours in the museum reading, looking, and feeling. Yes, I said feeling. Unlike most museums you are allowed to touch some of the displays. Make sure you set aside some money for the gift shop because they have some truly... More
