I made a stop here for the Van Gogh and the Monet. This is a small museum on the Campus of the university. No entry fee and there is a parking garage about two blocks away. This was a nice stop and I wished I...More

I'm not really enthused to go to museums. That being said, we had a wonderful experience at this museum. Even a novice like me can recognize the names of the masters whose work hangs there. Unique opportunity to see a variety of art in one...More

Have visited twice in the last six months and was surprised to see that they had changed out several of the exhibits. Great place to spend an hour or two, nice art collection and a very calm environment.

I agree with the reviewer that commented on security. It was rather strange. However, I went to see what they had by Nicolai Fechin and was a little surprised. There was quite a bit from the Taos Society of Artists which was rather nice. We...More

Yes, there are the obligatory collections of art both Native American and historic, but the real surprise is the contemporary art collection. One wall dedicated to Nicolai Fechin and one wall of Maynard Dixon kept me spell bound. To find this many works of each...More

This is a wonderful museum, definitely worth the visit. The collections are diverse and beautiful. Surprising for such a small Museum.

OU has one of the largest repositories of famous art for any public institution. The Weitzenhoffer collection alone is worth the visit, but the other rotating displays are likewise impressive. Add to that many additional visiting installations, any art aficionado will have their appetite more...More

I am admittedly not well-versed in art, but found the museum surprising in both the size and quality of its collection. Knowing it was on a university campus, I assumed it would small, but an hour at a brisk clip only allowed us to see...More
