The scientist and community leaders that started the National Weather Museum and Science Center wanted to establish a museum that would house historical meteorological instruments and interactive displays and but also serve as a place to learn about weather and science. The purpose was to preserve the history and highlight the future of weather observing, forecasting and research.

Fun museum with so much information on weather and also the equipment used through history on researching weather. Great exhibits. Worth the time.

Such a great place to go on the weekends, with or without my kiddos! They are always adding new exhibits and making updates! The kids and I really love the green screen and virtual reality. I will have a yearly membership now, but next time...More

if you are interested in weather and tornados this is a pure most see.. this is the epicenter of violent weather and the real history is here.. must see
