We were dissapointed that it was so small. It is in a beautiful old building that is well taken care of. Not too much to see once inside though.

We have visited this museum several times over the last 15 years. Always find something of interest. The kids always loved it, even the picky teenagers.

The museum is tiny, and a visit takes no more than an hour to an hour and a half. Its main exhibition includes long texts to read that were printed off online sources without having gone through any editing. So on top of typos, it...More

There was not a whole lot to see here. We had just visited the Cherokee Heritage Center, so this did not measure up.

Although the museum is small, it is staffed with knowledgeable people who really care that you have come to see their treasures. We especially enjoyed seeing the Jerome Tiger sculpture, "Stickballer" and learning of his short, talented life. We also really liked the sculpture, "Uprooted"...More

Staff friendly, and helpful. For a small museum in a historical building, both the exhibits of the 5 nations cultures and the art exhibits upstairs were very impressive. Very informative!

A small museum with nice display of artifacts and art work of the Native American Indians called the Five Civilized Tribes, i.e. Cherokee, Chickasaw, Choctaw, Muscogee Creek, and Seminole tribes. We spent about two hours. Especially nice is the film in the upstairs library section.
