The kids and adults loved this little gem. You begin by looking at all sorts of fish, many native to Oklahoma. Then there are lizards, tarantulas and other creepy crawlies inside. Outside there are alligators, snakes, bob cat, otters and if you buy food you can feed the turtles and quail!!! FYI....buy the food! It's a lot of fun. Theres a small little gift shop too....I like getting magnets and they had some pretty ones.

This was ok. If it was expensive I would have complained it’s very poorly lit. Many of the aquariums were cloudy or glass was to dirty to see well. The information was on clipboards and very high so impossible for kids to try and read. Bathrooms were by the entrance and outdated. The butterfly house was a joke. Much of it was outdoors would be difficult for anyone with any mobility issues.

Our first ever visit to Medicine Park Aquarium & Natural Sciences Center was awesome. The staff were welcoming, friendly, helpful & did a fabulous job engaging visitors in the exhibit’s & activities. I could have watched all day River & Creek 6 month old otters but there was more to see & do. Additionally, we participated in the opossum encounter, quail feeding, adult otter activity, & eel feeding. We checked out the snakes, turtles, coyote, bobcat, fish, frogs, alligator, & walked trails.

we went to the aquarium looking forward to it. covid-19 virus going on. was seriously takes by surprise when saw both staff in gift shop where we pay to go to aquarium not wearing masks. One of the employees was in the middle of store shelving and chatting, less that 3 foot from 3 or 4 customers. We left before we went further. Most of customers also not wear mask, even though keep 6 feet signs and mask signs all around town., medicine park. Their lack of consideration concerning covid-19 rules left serious safety concerns for me. if not doing mask and distancing, what else not done.

Terrible Place. The animals are all poorly in barren enclosures, stressed to the max and understimulated.
The fish tanks are literally lined with pool liners that's all they see. Otters as well , Not a plant or any stimulation in site. Very depressing theses animals are being made to suffer for views. Coyote covered in flies, he was in bad shape. It was all bad. The people were friendly. Even the school kids were upset by the conditions and behaviors of the animals...that should y=tell you something.
PRAY THE GET SHUT DOWN. Heck Joe Exoctics place was a resort for his animals in comparison.

We found this aquarium on our way to the Wichita Wildlife Refuge (just up the road). It's quite new, but still felt established. The place was clean and the staff was friendly. We didn't get to see all of the outside grounds as it was too hot for our toddler, but it looked nice and they have lots of native plants and other outdoor exhibits. We'll definitely stop back in next time we're in town.

This was a fun little trip. Was there about an hour and a half. The aquariums were neat nothing to fancy. Fish, snakes, scorpions and spiders inside. Then on the outside we got to see alligators, turtles, quail, Bob cats and more. The kids really enjoyed feeding the turtles and quails.

Yes. What's on display isn't the best available for modern times. Lucky that the state even paid for anything? Medicine Park is a precious stone by some backwater town. If you know about the city-council. From my experence, it's really a comical place ruled by clowns trying to make any sense of what's going on.

This is a small aquarium, but the kids enjoyed it. There was a meter that showed how much electricity the electric eel put off during feeding and that was kind of neat. They also have some animals outside, and we enjoyed watching the otters but it was freezing cold the day we went so we kindof hurried out there. If you go on a nice day you could linger there more.

My daughter and family will be in Lawton for 4 months in January 2018. How close are you to Fort Sill? Do you offer family memberships?
