The road leading to Porto Vromi offers some truly spectacular views. The bay itself is small and offers little in the way of facilities , but this adds to its charm and keeps the hordes away. The water is crystal clear, but a lot colder...More

Hard to rate this one. Two stars when the tour busses are there. Four when they are gone. Beach is beautiful but tiny (as expected). Boats to various sites leave from here and this brings a cadence of busses and boats emptying., overcrowding the site...More

It's not an easy drive to get here, lots of sharp turns and twists with a steep dirt road driveway, but once you're here you'll appreciate the effort. The beach is pebbly but blinding white due to the limestone, which gives the water its distinctive...More

Stopped here on our boat tour round the whole Island. There is a rock formation near to the beach which is an image of Poseidons face. Took a while to focus on the exact point, but once you know where it is, then you will...More

We took a boat tour from Porto Vromi Anafonitria side (there are two sides and you cannot get from one to the other easily so make sure you know where you are going) and it was the shortest point to Navagio and some blue caves.

Very small beach but lots of boats going to Shipwreck and the beautiful caves and water. The trip was 10 euros each for 3 hours, you stay at shipwreck beach for an hour and a half. Make sure you take drinks with you .

This was the most beautiful and peaceful place during our visit. The water was clear as ice and felt amazing on a hot day. The water is cold, which is nice after a long car ride! There were not too many people at the small...More

The crowds and parking was crazy in August at the height of tourist season. We got a boat to take us to Shipwreck Cove and also see the caves, Poseidon's Face and blue water. There is a small parking lot and if it's full you...More

Very nice port! It is rocky, but the water is amazing! It;s worth a 2-3 hour stop. There is also a tavern and a public toilet in the area.

I drove down to Vromi Bay in the late afternoon after touring the north of the island. The road to Port Vromi was extremely scenic. The narrow inlet was well worth a visit, but I didn't explore the beach as it was too late in...More

The beach is small and doesn't have sunbeds, you can lay down there. The water it's the coldest from other beaches. There's just a small bar to drink something and nothing else. Ships keep coming with tourists. You can rent a car or quads an...More

No Trip to Zante is complete without doing this. We first visited here in 2008 and fell in love with the place. In 2009 there had been a big fire that destroyed the area and scared the Land. This year it was back to its...More
