For a unique Toledo experience, stop by and see Amy Adler, the operator of the Frogtown Froggy Museum. The museum is currently located at 316 N. Michigan Ave. on the 3rd floor of an office building, so it is a little challenging to find...but it is worth it! Amy has a charming collection of frog collectibles and is an absolute delight to spend a few minutes chatting with. Lots of fun for anyone.

Note right off the bat that the Froggy Frog Museum has a new address as 316 N Michigan Blvd in Toledo on the 3rd floor. The phone number is correct as given. As you approach the room all you see is this abundance of green. We had a great tour with the beautiful owner Amy. She made us appreciate all the cuteness of her collection. A very enjoyable visit! Thank you Amy!

Before you plan your trip here, be aware of a couple important facts. This Frogtown Froggy Museum has moved from it's original location in 2016. The new address is located at:

2443 Collingwood Blvd., Toledo (NOT at Summit St.)

The previous location was in a building which was bought from the previous landlord and the museum was forced to move to it's present location. The new, present location is across Collingwood Blvd. from the historic Scott High School in an old house (currently painted blue).

This museum is for people who collect frogs (like my wife), and for kids who love frogs. Most of the frogs are fairly common and are probably worth as much as common beanie babies (remember those?). This place is fun and odd, and you can't help but smile when you meet the owner/ curator Amy. The entire museum is probably 500 square feet in area and is crammed into two rooms.

The museum is probably not currently handicap accessible. There are about 6 to 8 steps to climb to get to the front entrance (I didn't check to see if there is a ramp in back)

If you are old enough to remember the TV shows "Real People" or "On the Road with Charles Kuralt"... Amy and her Froggy museum would fit right in.

My guess is that this place has many hundreds of frogs in all kinds of sizes and made from all kinds of materials but I'd say 80 percent of them are either plush, "stuffed animal" or ceramic and glass "terrarium" type frogs.

The price of admission is free (donations gladly accepted).

For a better description of this place... do an internet search for an article:

"Odd Ohio: Toledo frog museum is hands-on fun"

Oh... I almost forgot. Open hours are limited to 10 am to 3 pm Saturdays and 1pm to 5 pm on Sundays. Other days, call to set an appointment.

The owner couldn't have been more friendly or happy to show us her collection. She had a very neat collection and pointed out what some certain frogs could do. Please visit and give a donation!

We came here out of curiosity, as I believe any place is worth patronizing at least once. Plus it's free! The owner is so friendly and really is passionate about her business! A really cute place with all kinds of non-live frogs and a play area in the back. It's 4 smaller rooms on one floor (1st floor), with the bathroom upstairs using an elevator, and parking right in back on Water St. Bring your camera!!!

Curious what the Froggy Museum could be, we drove to Toledo to check it out. When we arrived were a little surprised to see what it actually was. There are no live frogs at the museum. It is a personal collection of stuffed frogs. The lady is very passionate for her business and we give her kuddos for that but it is little more than a room filled with a lot of stuffed animal frogs. Note: Our kids had a great time.

The lady who has the museum went out of her way to be welcoming and accommodating. A great place for lovers of whimsy. Our 9 year old niece and we aunties enjoyed it equally!
