This was a visit for getting together with my parents who live in Ohio past Toledo. This is a nice sized park that sits right along a river?! There are two parts of the park, that I saw. It has two playground sets, a set of toddler swings and a set of big kid swings. Not sure where the bathrooms are, if there are any. There are benches, and picnic tables, and trash cans. Paved sidewalks throughout from the paved parking lot. There were even geese. I def'ly would come back.

We were at Walbridge Park last night to see the music in the park program that is on Thursdays at 7:00 pm. Last night was the "Better Than Yesterday Band". We had picked up our supper at Subway, had a picnic, watched the show with many friends and met new people too. Awesome evening.

Boy, did the memories come flooding back. I remember my Dad telling me that he worked on the shelter house during WPA. I remember an amusement park, although those memories are really vague. I remember a ride that you got into a 'car' of sorts in water and floated through 2 massive doors covered with a really heavy sheeting of rubber and that is all I remember of that ride. I remember the Merry Go Round. I remember a popcorn/carmel corn/candy apple venue on four wheels that kind of reminded me of a gypsy wagon. Colorful and attractive. Then I remembered all the brown bag lunches eaten in the park on all the school field trips.

We love taking our three young children to play at this park. They have very nice playgrounds, and they are also wheelchair friendly. It is located across the street from the zoo on Broadway, and is a very nice park to take your children to for a walk or to play on the playgrounds.

This is in a great location. Right on the water and across the street from the Toledo Zoo. Two good play areas for the kids. Get there early if planning a cookout because it really gets crowded on weekends.

Across from zoo & along the river, small park that is surprisingly clean considering the neighborhood. Nice playground for the kids, nice clean paved path for walking &biking, large oveerhang with several picnic tables and grills and a beautiful gazebo! Check it out!

We sometimes like to get a take-out order and eat supper here. The environment is very pleasant, and there is a nice walk to a beautiful overlook of the Maumee River.

We enjoy stopping here occasionally to eat a take-out meal from a nearby restaurant and walk the trail that goes to a beautiful overview of the Maumee River.

This is a family park but we go for the great views of the Maumee
River. Sit on a bench facing the river,. enjoy the sounds of children's laughter and just kick back for 5 minutes or an hour.
