“Mound Hounds”

Sept 2021

We are always looking for mounds and ruins. I was surprised to find Mound Park smack in the middle of Portsmouth. Sounds like there were many more mounds near this once upon a time, only one preserved. The address takes you to the wrong side of the park next to the large wooden (CLOSED) playground and sports fields. If you are interested in reading the mound signage, round the block and park on Hutchins Street.
