Amazingly this park has free entry. We stopped here for a walk as we travelled through the area and really enjoyed it. The place is well maintained and there are trails along the shore and through the woodland.

I like this park particularly for the great views from the pier for photographs, especially at sunset. The rocky beach is fun for the rock hounds too, just wear good shoes and watch your footing.

One of many special places to visit on Catawba! You can fish all day (and night) off the pier. Swim in the crystal water at the pebble beach on the north side, or enjoy the sunsets after a long day!

While I have never camped here, I have been going to the beach here my whole life. The bathrooms are airy and clean. There are 2 outdoor public showers to rinse off.

The park is quite lovely and being next to the water gives it such calmness too. There is a play area for the kids and the neighboring homes are nice to walk around if you are needing a little exercise.

Not a very big park but good for picnics and watching boats loading and unloading. The " beach" is rocky but with boat shoes or teva sandals swimming or wading is very easy. There is a bathroom available. No food or drink concessions available.

My wife and I visited here on 8/1/17 on our way to the ferry and South Bass Island. Nice place to walk the dog and enjoy the scenery.

Nice stop when traveling by the lake. Pier and boat ramps. Small beach area. Bathrooms were nice and clean. All areas are handicapped accessible. It also has a nice shelter house with picnic tables.

The day we visited the lake was wild. The water was up, it was very windy and the waves where hitting above the pier. There is nothing fancy here, but it's has a shelter, restrooms and shade trees. Normally my husband will fish off the...More
