This is a beautifully, restored downtown building.

Part of it houses the local library and other levels has places for parties and receptions. The scenes that you can see out the windows are great!

If you're in downtown Piqua you can't miss this tall historic building. It's kept up well and has been restored or taken care of very nicely. Definitely worth a stop!

My memories of this building go back to my childhood, some 45 years. My grandmother lived in one of the apartments that were created after the Hotel stopped operation. I was always in awe as I entered the building. The front lobby and the opening to the second floor. After the building was abandoned and closed in the late 1980's,... More

My daughter's soccer team (10 year olds) had a tournament in the area and had a few hours in between games to find something to do. We decided to visit Fort Piqua Plaza due to the high rating on trip advisor. A big mistake. This is not a place for children. It should have been a red flag that no... More

This is a spectacular renovation of the predominant building in downtown Piqua. It is a wonderful example of late 19th century architecture and building materials--worth the trip to see it!

The historic Fort Piqua Hotel had been decaying for decades in downtown Piqua until organizations, citizens, city and businesses spent years restoring it to its once grand status. Now the historic Fort Piqua Plaza is home to the local library which displays artifacts, art and other events and has several well appointed meeting rooms including the beautiful grand ballroom for... We were staying in Piqua for the week with two young kids, so we went to Ms. Sharon's Thursday morning story time at the Piqua Public Library. First of all, the building was AMAZING - absolutely breathtaking (and I've been to a lot of historic places). Ms. Sharon was very kind and entertaining, and the entire staff was eager to... More
