We are about an hour's drive from Oberlin, but I actively watch the college website to see what concerts are being held at my favorite venue, Finney Chapel. Some are free while others require tickets, but the chapel is an excellent place to see a concert!

Took a stroll around campus on a nice fall day. It is really lovely. Lots of old buildings and things to see. The campus is right next to the "downtown" part of Oberlin, so it's very easy to see when in town.

My father passed away and while visiting with my sister we wanted to research some infomation about my fathers forefathers. Which took us to Oberlin College. We visited the Archive Building and look up the history of our relatives that were involved with Oberlin College. Over the years we had heard that our relatives were the founding fathers. After some... More

I can only talk of the beauty of this campus! It's beautiful and quaint and well kept! Appears safe at all different hours and the people of the community are very friendly and warming.

I feel so lucky to have moved here from Shaker Heights, Ohio. The students are a great compliment to a great College. The campus and town of Oberlin buzz with life and at the heart of it, are these wonderful students.

A pioneer institution for equal education for all races and genders in the arts, sciences, for a time (but no more) theology, and above all music, Oberlin mirrors the best traits of humans and the highest aspirations for a planetary community. Campus buildings are models of several architectural styles, from Italian Renaissance Revival, through Richardson Romanesque, to so-called Postmodern and... More

I wish that this review could be listed under HOTELS for Oberlin as the conference facilities are offered as hotel facilities and carry quite the price tag for what you (don't) get. our experience: sterile little room with linoleum floor plastic beds (no mattress pad) unfitted sheets that slipped right off the mattress one threadbare blanket a stained pillow bathroom... Seems like a posh and pretty place in a nice town....but I stayed here for a conference a while ago and was really not impressed with the facilities considering how much I had paid. The rooms didn't have appropriate bedding and there are only two bathrooms per half floor. Food was ok but staff not helpful and they stare at... More

Liberal arts college with a stunning campus. One of the great colleges in small town Ohio. Plenty of history, art, music, architecture.

My son and I flew to Ohio to check out Oberlin and really enjoyed our visit. The college is beautiful and the music scene is incredible. Would highly recommend!
