Beautiful gardens align walkway and paths throughout gardens to get closer and appreciate work of volunteers who tend these gardens. Tour Guides here are excellent - learning the history of the Hoover family and Company is rewarding - a modest beginning for the family, a...More
This is definately worth the stop. The tour is about an hour, and covers the entire history of the vacuum. The early models are an absolute riot. The house itself is lovely, but apparently it was used as a design house, and there were some...More

Even if you don't know anything about North Canton, chances are you've owned a sweeper -- or more specifically, a Hoover! This little gem of a museum is both fun and interesting. A "must do" for anyone passing through the area or visiting.
I have to admit, I didn't know this place even existed! Christine, our guide, was extremely knowledgeable about the Hoover history. We got to see the development of the vacuum over the years. Definitely a place to stop in and visit!
This is a guided tour of two historic buildings. My son loved this place! Artifacts aren't behind glass and the knowledgable tour guides made the experience even better. They answered his questions and seemed to enjoy sharing their site with us.
