Great way to see how an Amish farm is run.

The Hershberger Farm & Bakery is a unique look in to how an Amish farm can become a business to encourage tourism in Amish country. They have a neat petting zoo that allows... read more

The Hershberger Farm & Bakery is a unique look in to how an Amish farm can become a business to encourage tourism in Amish country. They have a neat petting zoo that allows children to get up close and personal with goats, horses, sheep, pigs, chickens, rabbits etc. You can purchase food to feed the petting zoo animals and the... Stuck between four and five stars. The free petting zoo/farm was great for our 2 and 4 year old and so was the wagon ride for our 4 yr old and father to go out to the pumpkin patch. Lots of fall stuff and home decor to buy as well as baked goods and other foods. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND bringing... More

In addition to being a market with a good bakery, a wide variety other items to buy, animals for the kids to pet, and hot vendor food you will see (weather dependent) goats on the roof of the building that houses the animals. The goats come and go as they please, and seem to really like being on the roof... More

We come here each fall visit to Ohio Amish country. Kids (and adults) loved the wagon ride to the pumpkin patch to pick our own pumpkins. The animals at the farm are fun to see and pet. The store has a wide variety of unusual items from wooden toys to antiques. Food is available...cooked over a fire. Flowers and fall... More

I'm a vegan and really enjoy coming here to see these beautiful animals. No zoos or farms are like Hershberger, as you can bond and interact with these gorgeous creatures. The food is great too! Everyone, including the amish, are so nice! This is a great place to go all the time!

So every year we travel to Amish Country and wind up here! Bring extra shoes if y'all plan on petting the animals. We spent a good half hour before cleaning the poo out of our shoes before getting back in the car! 😬 I recently got my braces off and knew the first purchase I was going to make here... More

The display of different types pumpkins and potted flowers at this time of year makes Hershberger's a very inviting place to visit. And the prices for the flowers was reasonable especially considering the size of the plants. The gift buildings have changed and there is now a display of primitive antiques to purchase. There is still a large selection of... More

Great bakery and market. Lots of things to choose from. Baked goods, sweets, cider, veggies, fruit, etc. Fun store with lots of homemade and handmade items. We had lunch too...fresh cooked burgers and fries. They were also making fresh kettle chips. Yum! Animals were fun to look at and let.

October = many many people on Saturday! Pick your own pumpkins, all kinds of animals for children to pet: goats, lambs, cows, horses. Kids can safely ride very small or larger horses. Buggy rides for families. Belgian horse that is 6 ft 6 in to its withers and weighs 3000 lbs..quite a site and quite friendly.Plenty of food available with... More
