If you're interested in the small town of Milford outside Cincinnati, this is a great place to start.

Take a tour of this lovely old mansion. Perhaps book afternoon tea if you have a group! Rich in history ca. 1865. I have visited Promont many times.

I wanted to get married here because it's so pretty but not your fussy Victorian. If you're into local history, this is the place to go for Milford. A ghost hunters' tour is available in October, pricey but a unique experience.

This beautiful historic home is often overlooked by its local community but is truly a hidden treasure. The local historical society houses many local artifacts and preserves the home of one of Ohio's early governors. Love the hair art, climbing into the tower, and the many interesting facts the docents share. Enjoyed our private dinner and would love to attend... More

I went here with a group and we had an outstanding guide who explained the story behind the Promont House. Even though I live close to this attraction, I'd never been there and was glad to learn about the history. The gardens are nice and very peaceful.

A really nice quaint museum hinge. It's well kept and I'd say that if you're into historic hinges, you'll like this one, with its museum .

Small but sweet. I don't know if they charge, we went during the Arts Affaire so it was free, and there was more than just the house to see.

Knew about this place for a long time, but just visited now. It is a Victorian house owned by 5 different families, including a former Ohio governor. There are 3 floors and an observation level with a lot to see in the house. It is only $5 per adult and the tour guides do a wonderful job. This is something... More
