A wonderful and informative cruise with wonderful people - my second trip - i bought my parents back for them to experience it. If you can afford it purchase tickets on the upper deck which is generally quieter and offers wonderful views from inside. everything from Hells Gates, Salmon Farms, the harbour, river, forest and the wonderful tour of sarah... This was a really great cruise and fantastic value for a family of 4. The boat is magnificent, the skipper and crew are exceptionally knowledgeable and informative and the food is great. The tour on Sarah Island was excellent and gave us an insight into a part of convict history we were unaware of. We would recommend this to anyone

I did a Gordon river cruise 25 years ago...it was 3 hours long and it was great. A cruise to see untouched rainforest, etc. However, the cruise is now 6 hours long!! The only reason to extend the length is to make a case for charging excessive prices. However, it was so boring. When we finally got to Sarah Island,... More

This was a great way to spend the day exploring the Gordon River, including a very informative and enjoyable tour of Sarah Island by Ingrid, as well as a walk through a Huon pine forest. Great buffet lunch. We felt it was unnecessary to buy the more expensive seats since you are able to move around freely, including visiting the... More

The world heritage tour "red boat in Strahan" was exceptional. The tour takes you from one end to Strahan history to the other. Paying extra for the gold class tickets was worth it for the better view, quieter area and morning tea and lunch is included in the ticket. Lunch was a delicious buffet style of salads and cold meats.... More

We had lovely weather for the cruise. Staff were friendly and helpful and the boat very clean and spacious. The buffet lunch supplied was excellent; we thoroughly enjoyed it with a quiet drink as we cruised slowly up the Gordon. Sarah Island was fascinating with an entertaining guided tour. We paid a little extra for premium, enjoying window seats that... More

We were very happy to find this cruise and even happier to find out it left at 8am, rather than 730am like the Gordon River cruise did. The boat is beautiful and pristine. Lots of outdoor seating as well as indoor. If you buy the gold seating you can get a coffee and snack included which is nice to tide... More

World Heritage Cruises puts on a World-Class cruise experience. Overall, it was informative and entertaining; it combined a diversified range of attractions in a strong collaborative effort. A personal greeting as we stepped aboard the new (about 1 yr old) "Harbor Master" meant being shown to our specific, designated, reserved seat and offered tea/coffee and a muffin for breakfast. The... More
