Well worth the trek

Amazing views and well worth the climb down the stairs and back up. Information boards available with lots of interesting info about the area and what can be found there

Being locals, we've been here a few times. And, fortunately we've seen it at various sea levels. On this particular visit, we were able to climb over & walk through to the other side of the cave. This can't always be done so you need to basically use your brain & be sensible when doing this! Water can come in... More

Apparently in winter this is more spectacular as the waves come through the cave. In Spring/Summer the waves are on the other side of the arch so you look through the collapsed cave. It's a short walk from the car park followed by steps down to a viewing platform. You definitely couldn't get into the cave from this point.

An interesting cave formation, on the way from Port Arthur near a carpark so easy to get good shots from above

Worth the drive and walk down to see this feature. It shows the power of the sea and how it has worked its way through the cliffs. You can climb the rail and walk through as many people do.

The cave formation was beautiful and curious, and make good photos too. It's a pity there weren't other interesting formations alongside.

Most people climb over the fence, and so did we. But MAJOR TIP: be careful and KNOW WHEN the water fills. Do your research. When we were there running around and getting through the cave to another side, locals warned us to be careful and get back in, as water sometimes flows in suddenly and you might be stuck out.... Interesting cave with a lot of rock cairns left by others. The tide was coming in so we weren't able to go too far. Nice area.

Been here a number of times and on each occasion the water has been at different levels. This makes it a more or less of an experience as the water splashes toward the viewing platform. Very calm place to visit. A short walk from the carpark to the viewing platform. Plenty of parking and other attraction within driving distance. Great... More

A bit of a hike (stairs) to get there and back but worth it if you can. We are not particularly fit, so we did have to stop a few times but very pleased we did it as the view is amazing.
