The day begins exploring and tasting as you go. Rodney and his wife Severine have established a magical working farm with herbs, vegetables, orchards, chickens, goats, sheep and pigs and a few ducks. All produce is grown or produced right there ready for the guests to gather what is required for the menu and then cook under the guidance of... More

Wow! An amazing experience that re-connects you with food. You can harvest, prepare, cook and then enjoy the local produce coupled with local wines. Well worth booking ahead and making a weekend away from the hustle and bustle of city life!

I spent a day here for a cooking class with Rodney and a group of lovely people. The whole day was focussed on fresh produce in a sustainable environment. Rodney was fabulous with explaining his garden and how he operates it and the ethos behind it all. The cooking class was fun and easy to follow with expert advice always... More

Spent a wonderful day yesterday foraging, milking, cooking and eating under the watchful eye of Rodney. What a wealth of knowledge he shared about all things on his property and in the kitchen. His staff we also attentive and helpful as our group of 9 worked our way through preparing and eating 3 delicious courses. The group paired up and... More

One day at The Agrarian Kitchen can get you to feel like you could truly live off the land and do it all, all four seasons. The day starts with a wonderful cup of tea in the old school house that is now Rodney and Severine Dunn's Agrarian Kitchen. Soon we are outside gathering herbs, fruit and vegetables grown on... My husband attended an Agrarian experience day early September.Now,2 weeks later there are still daily references to his experience, from Rodneys patience and expertise and great barista skills to the fun making fresh ricotta or viewing the smoke house and productive gardens.I knew it would be a special place with the beautiful daffodil lined driveway and the cute little kid goats... I attended the 2 day 'Birds of a Feather' class in early August and I cannot say enough positive things about this experience. Learning to overcome my fear of dispatching & preparing my own chickens - was a huge accomplishment for me personally and I can only attribute this to the relaxed & exacting teaching skills of Rodney Dunn. I... More

My wife & I just attended for the 2 day Charcuterie course and had an absolute ball. With a class size of 9 people you can always easily get host Rodney Dunn's attention to ask any questions you might have, and he explains everything patiently & methodically. It's a very intimate way to broaden your understanding of the course material,... More
