The views are good but the spot was bit crowded. The climb was not that bad but not very easy as well. The return route is different from a T junction- be careful about that. I had better views and quiet at the lighthouse point. And car can do most of the climb for you.

This is one of the most amazing views in Tasmania and well worth the effort to climb the track. Part of the track is quite steep but well laid out with good paths and formed steps. The indicated times are quite reliable. Spend some time at the lookout to not only take photos but to appreciate the amazing view. At... More

Our 5-year old lead the way the whole time! At first we had to get creative to make the hike a bit of a game to keep her excited, but quickly she was the one leading the way and we did the return hike from the beach in less than an hour, when the sign said it takes about an... More

This is a beautiful trail. The trail can be a bit difficult as there are numerous rocks that serve as stairs. The climb up was easier then coming down. You will get good evercise. Wear good walking shoes or hiking boots but boots are not necessary at all. A walking stick may be helpful if you are older The views... More

A wonderful day. We walked the Wineglass Bay Circuit along The Isthmus trail, Hazards Beach and back to the Wineglass Bay Car Park. 11 km. The last leg of the trek is quite difficult. A wonderful experience. The Wineglass Bay lookout is fabulous. The walk down to the beach is fine. The sand is interesting more like small pebbles and... More

For all the appeal in its name, the real thing didn't look like a wineglass or anything at all. The walk was moderately enjoyable, and the areas had wild wallabies, which was by itself pretty fun. The scenery was mediocre.

It's a pretty steep slog up to the Lookout at Wineglass Bay but sooo worth the effort. At water level, the beach looks pretty good but, from up too, you really appreciate just how beautiful this place is. There was also what appears to be a resident wallaby - please don't feed as they will die if you do ☹️

Headed out to Freycinet NP today and anticipated a walk in and out to get to Wineglass Bay look out. We weren't equipped (time or shoes wise) for the round trip walk but did the lookout and weren't disappointed. The info provided at the start of the walks should be heeded. I only say this as there seemed to be... More

What a beautiful place to visit! My husband and I carried our two boys (3.5yr and 1.5yr) in hiking baby carriers and it was easily doable. We went on down to wineglass bay beach and back...worth the extra time and effort to visit the white sandy beach. I highly recommend it for anyone visiting tasmania...it was one of the highlights... It took my husband & I about 30 minutes to walk up to the lookout. It is a steep walk up but if too need to rest along the way you should. Well worth it when you finally reach the lookout as the views are stunning.
