Take a little longer

I strongly suggest doing the full 11km Wineglass bay Hazards Beach circuit.Although marked as a level 4 walk, it is very manageable with moderate level of fitness.

Lots of people and the car park was almost full on a beautiful summer day in January. The walk to the lookout and down to wineglass bay is no Sunday stroll. It is challenging for anyone with a mild walking impediment. The views are amazing and the beach stunning. Pack lots of water.

You absolutely have to lay eyes on Wineglass bay one way or the other; even if you don't walk down there. It's great to get a view from higher up. You need sturdy shoes & to be fairly fit. But there are plenty of stopping sites if you do need a sit down!! Took about an hour there & back... More

There are many many well formed stairs but really well worth the constant climb to get to the top where you are rewarded with a spectacular view of Wine Glass Bay and beyond. You are walking along a well marked and well worn track with plenty of rest stops that can be used, seats as well as flat rocks. This... More

We were advised to visit the lookout at Wineglass Bay so were pleased we did even though the actual walk was pretty hard with lots of steps! Lucky that we were there on a pleasant day taking water, sunscreen and a hat! I certainly wouldn't like to do the walk on a very hot day! NOTE! There are toilets at... More

This is a good walk and is upstairs most of the way - those of us a bit older and larger may have had to have a few stops along the way. It is a busy walk and there are a lot of tourists. You need a park pass to get in and definitely need some water bottles and a... More

We came ashore from our anchored ship in zodiacs and the aquamarine waters seduced me to dive in before the tender had beached. The water was pristine, cold, absolutely refreshing and vitalizing. Having these snow white sands to oneself is mind boggling and you can set aside a day to lap up your time in heaven. Indescribable beauty with each... More

A brilliant activity. It is quite a steep walk both up and down but it has been well presented for tourist use with steps cut in to the rock and made in certain spots as you walk up. If you have a even a modicum of fitness you will be fine, we saw all ages and abilities on our walk,... More
