We are simply not lucky with the weather whenever we book one of these sort of cruises . Our wineglass cruise proved to be no exception it was windy and wet as we boarded . At least though this is more like a ship than many of the other craft that we have been on and we were able to... More

Great seats and big windows on 3 sides. We viewed the wildlife and coastline from both the bow and stern outdoor decks, and while sitting in the interior. The boat is a catamaran which makes it more stable on the open water. There are 2 classes of seating with the upstairs is limited to 28 people who have more comfortable... More

A coastal cruise, which allows you to see stunning beaches, and colourful rock cliffs. Seeing schools of dolphins and other bird life was a definite highlight. The crew gave a good commentary, be it hard to hear out on the open deck. People who are motion sickness sufferers should do this trip on a calm day, take the ginger tablets... More

The cruise departs from Coles Bay and takes you around to Wineglass Bay. On the way, the skipper points out various features & wildlife. On our trip there appeared to be some sort of "frenzy" in the water about 0.5 kilometers away, so we headed towards it. When we got there, hundreds of dolphins and seals were engaging in a... More

This is a wonderful way to see the bays and mountains along the coast of the Freycinet National Park. I took the upper floor option, which is a bit more expensive, where the view is a bit better, is not as crowded and includes all drinks, lunch and oysters. The scenery is beautiful with plenty of wildlife to view including... More

I went on the Wineglass Bay cruise today. We went on the tour which allows you access to the upper deck and included drinks and lunch. The scenery was amazing, we saw seals, dolphins and several birds as well as a spectacular coastline from the water. We anchored and had our lunch in wineglass bay which consisted of a bento... We arrived early to board the boat by 8:30am, the boat was a surprise very new and exceptionally clean, the staff were very informative, friendly, and professional. The narrative was a wonderful incite into Tasmanian history and delivered well. The lunch was served in a wonderful little box with lid, in the compartments was a tasty array of Tasmanian cheeses,... I'm stunned that people rate this cruise a 5. It is not that great. First of all it is very expensive. There is very limited deck space so expect to be scrambling to see anything. And if you are prone to seasickness you will likely get seasick as the swells are quite pronounced. You will be escorted to the tiny... More

Hello and thank you for your feedback! Everyone has certainly a different expectation I suppose of what they think or get from our cruise. Regarding the seasickness we do go out into the Tasman sea and at times there can be a swell but its like any other waterway at times can be calm or rough. We are sorry that... More

We found the whole booking process easy and the follow up informative emails were excellent. The crew were very helpful and attentive. We were lucky to have fine weather. The scenery was great. We saw dolphins, seabirds and listened to an informative commentary. I would recommend this tour, but be aware if you are prone to seasickness as it can... More

Once aboard the crew offered advice and guidance in moving around the ship safely when encountering rocky waters as we moved on to the Tasman Sea. Crew Members were continually vigilant assuring our safety. Exhilarating experience observing pods of dolphins circling the ship. The Captain provided lots of info about the various wildlife and historic sightings. A delicious boxed lunch was... More
