St Imre Vineyard is a boutique winery located in Dover, the Far South region of the Huon Valley, on the Huon Trail. We have 5 acres planted to Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Gewürztraminer, Pinot Gris and the more hard to find varieties of Ziegerrebe, Baco Noir and Gamay.We offer free wine tasting, food, coffee and art/craft.

Hours listed on their site however were closed during these times every time we attempted to visit. Was a weekday though so maybe are more consistent on the weekend.

Despite having been to this vineyard on several occasions, there is never any clue as to whether it is open. Last time we were here, when asked why they don't let people know if they're open or not, the lady said 'Oh people just know...More

This friendly family make a really tasty wine. After 10 months around New-Zealand and Australia it is definetly our favourite. The location of this vineyard is just perfect if you like the natural landscapes between the sea and mountain...

This winery should have a closed sign up. We call two days in a row as we were staying in the area. It was very disappointing to find it not open, and I feel it has been closed for some time.

Situated in an absolutely stunning part of Tasmania, St Imre Vineyard is well worth a visit. The drive from Hobart is scenic and not terribly long. The vineyard and winery are picturesque with plenty of evidence of the wonderful woodworking craftsmanship of Paul. The wines...More

We liked the fact that we serves by the owner Paul. Interesting chat about his Hungarian wine and saw his happy "organic" pigs in the paddock nearby and heard about their"fate"

Flavoursome interesting wines made with mature grapes (unlike those cheap wines made with grapes picked too green). Also an interesting Grappa for the cold days. Some very interesting art works too, particularly the wood work items, some very nice kitchen/butchers blocks.

We visited in August. We had a nice time there, the beaf gulash was excellent, soo tasty.The wines are very good, and we liked the spirits as well.Had a great tiime there,we will definitely come back!!
