We hiked this with 3 kids, 2 in carriers and not a ton of hiking experience. Great joke and beautiful scenery but make sure you expect 3-4hrs. It took us 3 and lots of steps, climbing and such. Amazing views.

We walked the Dove Lake Circuit in the snow which was so magical! Found the walk relatively easy with the exception of the last 20 mins. Ballroom Forest and nearby waterfalls were just beautiful. Make sure you take water with you as the water is...More

One of the most glorious walks in Tasmania (and indeed the world). Braved the rain and snow with two little ones, and it was worth every step.

A must do walk in Cradle Mountain (and Tassie). Was really snowy and icy in the middle of winter. A lot of people had trouble sliding around. It was still worth it though. Grippy shoes were a must. I have been in summer and it...More

Hi I would advise getting a National Parks Pass usually valid for 2 months thus giving you entry and free shuttle bus!

Hi there. I'm sorry I have only just seen your questions. I'm not the person to ask, but we stayed two nights in the Highlander Chalets and did several quick walks in one day in the one National Park.
