Imagine seeing a white wallaby in the wild and taking photos whilst it stood and stared at you. It can happen when you visit this amazing natural wonder.

Cloudy Bay in South Bruny National Park is one of the beautiful attractions on this island. A huge desolate uninhabited and unspoilt beach which can be wild and windy at time. This only adds to the attraction of the area. Surfers go around the corner to middle beach... a great surfing beach and campers can drive (depending on the car... More

There wasn't much of a scenery but it's worth a try in the late arvo/dusk to try to spot the white wallabies amongst the usual brown ones. We spotted them near the deserted looking houses.

This is a beautiful spot but it is typical of national parks. If you are like me and like an adventure and to get off road in your 4wd don't bother because you can't get anywhere all the old tracks have a gate on them or are now walking tracks and im not a great fan of lugging diving or... More

This is the longest walk on the island. We brought lunch and plenty of water. Great way to spend the day. Varied scenery including beaches for swimming. 5-6 hours oaf walking.

Jetty Beach camp area - some private campsites surrounded by low bush, most relatively open. Appears to be fuew people stay longer than one night. Popular with travellers. lovely protected beach remarkably warm as its in a shallow bay. Great easy walks to the cape (17km return, day trip or a shorter version about 5k 2.5 hours). Campsite has good... More

Had a quick walk around the park but didn't walk uo to the National Park. It's just gorgeous everywhere you go on Bruny Island. It's worth a visit if you have time. My boyfriend and I were pressed for time, and didn't have enough time to trek up to the light house. I can only imagine the view from the... More

During a week of fairly indulgent Bruny Island cherries, oysters and cheeses the climb to the top of fluted Cape was a challenge but extremely rewarding. The walk itself begins at the end of the Adventure Bay Road at Cookville and passes some historic whaling remains before the beginning of a fairly significant climb. Stunning scenery that stretches all the... More
