As well as the obvious views, the sea, sand and walking, it's also the place to see shearwaters and penguins by night in season

It's worthwhile negotiating the zillions of other people who run/climb/trudge/crawl up the many stairs to the top of the lookout. The 360 degree views of the Channel and the Tasman Sea etc are beautiful...if you can see above all the heads and people taking selfies. But before or after your climb, do stop and read about Truganini, the Aboriginal woman... More

Beautiful walk to see the island from the middle. Steep climb but easy walk and well worth it. You can come back at night and view the penguins.

Opportunity to stretch the legs and climb to enjoy the view. Climbing for the energetic but the view is spectacular.

A must visit if you were at Bruny Island. Interesting view. The long flight of steps may look intimidating. But the view took the tiredness away.

A steep climb for spectacular view of the neck but a little fitness is required to get to the top but well worth it. Awesome

Loved this place and all Bruny Island! Worth going up the steps for the view! Also, take a walk on the beach, we can see the penguins prints everywhere!

This lookout is well worth the walk up the easy (but many) stairs. Take your time and look around. There are a lot of people doing the walk but it never seemed crowded as everyone is well spaced out. The view from the top is stunning.
