Take the kids this is the best history lesson. Wonderful walk, amazing views, chilling history of chain gang work and a great engineering skill and hard work. Just do it

We visited on a particularly hot day in December. The trail up Devine's Hill was really informative and we looked forward to reaching each new information section. At the top of the hill, rather than return down Devine's hill, we decided to follow the Finches...More

National parks run occasional tours but you can do this walk yourself any time. I highly recommend the 2 km one-way walk up Devine’s Hill. National parks have done a wonderful job with interpretative signage and sculpture so you never feel like it is an...More

We nearly drove past the cemetery as it is very small at the side of the road, a lot of the headstones had fallen over but we could see that there were families that we're all together.

We walked part of the way up the Convict Trail to Hangmans Rock & it was great. There are historic memoribilia on concrete blocks along the trail.

Visited the convict trail with no real expectation - we had picked up a leaflet elsewhere and thought it looked interesting. It was absoluty lovely. We parked about 500m from the north side of wisemans ferry and walked up Devines Hill. Really beautiful. Easily accessible...More
