We visited it during morning and the place was great for some pictures. The museum is just like other railway museum though. The facility is maintained by volunteers and there is a ticket for visit. The location is pretty.

The museum is extensive with many different displays relating to all aspects of rail travel. Most enjoyable.

A lot of effort has gone into preservation and the recording of a piece of history. If you have a interest in trains and the historical significance of the Tenterfield railway station then you are sure to be able to pass an hour or two.
