2 years ago we went to Yelapa and found it beautiful. What ruined our trip was the crooked water taxi guide (Ernie, probably not his true name) that we got stuck with. Yelapa is beautiful as well as the beach. Our guide had a deal...More

We had a fun boat ride to Yelapa and a great afternoon on the beach. There are several restaurants and some great seafood. We plan on returning soon as we didn't make it to the falls.

It was a nice walk up to the falls. Didn't like that the road up to it is full of vendors but I guess that's what they need to do. I will add they were friendly and not pushy. Lots of people were always coming...More

A must see. The hike was beautiful through the jungle and an easy until you get to a short area of rocks just before the falls. Refreshing swim at the end.

A bit of a hike and really not that impressive. The thing that bothered us was a guy jumped on our boat fron tinos oasis and went to the pier with us to get dropped off. He then became our 'tour guide'. He stopped at...More

the hike to the falls in longer (plan on a day with littler kids) but the falls are beautiful. We rode horses - which were old, and expensive (I recommend haggling down to $10/person if you go that route.)

How convenient to have a waterfall in town! This is worth the gentle walk and also offers a chance to buy local products for souvenirs. You can have refreshments at a small restaurant nestled at the base of the falls and it's not unusual to...More

The Best way is by boat; there is a road but it is in a bad shape and long. We booked our trip in advance; The horses were included (also The scuba gear)
