I haven't been here for 40 years! Great to read about the place. Well laid out exhibition. Good value. Quite small roads to find it but well signposted.

An amazing Roman Villa with beautiful mosaic deep in the countryside down winding lanes but worth it when you get there. Nothing commercialized just an excellent experience.

Smaller than Fishbourne but felt more homely. The mosaics are protected under Georgian buildings with thatched roofs rather than the modern building covering Fishbourne. Spent half a day here....well worth it if you have an interest in Roman Britain.

The guide material in the building that now covers the site tells a clear story. It is of lasting interest to both locals and visitors. Once again we took some friends from the US who ere greatly impressed.

Well preserved historical discovery, well organized and displayed so that you get a good idea of what the villa would have looked like back in the day! Nice to visit on sunny day and even some fun stuff for kids (and adults behaving like kids)!

We only discovered Bignor when we drove past and saw a sign saying 'Roman Villa'. The site has some fabulous mosaics and Roman artefacts. It is a shame that it isn't better known as it is really fascinating if you are interested in ancient British...More
