The Heritage Exhibition and Viewing Tower is based around the harbour and seaside history of Littlehampton and the surrounding area, the Heritage Exhibition has interactive displays, historical artefacts and fascinating pieces of information to inform and amuse both adults and children. Do you know what ships were wrecked off the Sussex coast; why a customs house was built in Littlehampton in 1864; when the town first started to receive day trippers; what birds wheel above the river and float on its waters? Come to our exhibition and find out the answers to these and many other questions. As for our viewing tower, it has some of the best views in Sussex. It is said you can see the spire of Chichester Cathedral from the Upper Tower using the binoculars provided. Why not come and find out? Or bring your camera and step out onto the Lower Tower balcony to take amazing pictures of the River Arun that you would never get at ground level.

This is rather an odd venue, difficult to categorise. The tower has magnificent views all round from the upper floor. "Museum" or "Historic" exhibits are strongly aimed at very young children, with grown-ups marginalised, which is a pity in a way as a lot of...More

I go there every year. The tables are laid with nice blue serviettes and it looks cosy. This year, the tables weren't laid at all, so that we were unsure if we should come in. We sat down and got the menu, we were asked...More

We stayed two nights in Littlehampton and had both breakfasts at the Look and Sea. The staff is nice and the food is well cooked with a nice view of the water.

Thank you for your lovely review - we are very lucky to have such a wonderful view along the river and out to sea.

We had a cooked beakfast here. The food was given us in a off hand manner, luke warm. The tea was so weak, I asked for another tea bag and begrudgingly it was almost thrown at me. It was like asking for the crown jewels.The...More

Restaurant's profits all go back into the community. Enjoyable lunch at reasonable prices. Would advise that you book in advance as I'm sure in the busy summer months you would stand little chance of a table.

The only criticism I have is the queueing system. It's not clear to everyone. There are 2 points where you can order and pay but some people choose to ignore the que and go straight to the 2nd till where there is no Que. very...More

Yes you are quite right there is one queue which filters through to the tills. We do try and remind people to queue but sometimes it is not possible if we have not noticed people slipping in. We hope you enjoyed your meal.
