We visited this location en route to chichester. As we had our dog with us and could not enter the gardens, we walked through the woods. This was a beautiful countryside walk of 4 miles. I would thoroughly recommend this walk.

the gardens are the gem of this house, lovely walk up to the house, which is partially derelict from a devastating fire in the 1940's. the rooms which have been restored are well worth exploring.

We choose a day when the temperature was 23 c and we weren’t disappointed to see the gardens sparkling in the sunshine. The lady who gave us the map said the Mediterranean garden had probably done the best this year with the hot summer and...More

Beautiful walk in gardens to the house. Lovely friendly people on hand with information. Good selection of food & drink in Coffee shop & wide selection of goods in shop. Overall a lovely experience.

A great day out for the family to see wonderful countryside, art studio and scenery. We are members of National Trust so a huge advantage!

On this visit we went for a longer walk to the lake which was very nice and in the spring the woods will be full of bluebells. There were plenty of ducks on the lake and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The more formal gardens...More

House destroyed in a fire some years ago and part rebuilt. However the ruins are interesting and the gardens lovely even on a dull day

Visited the cafe. I found the service rather slow and although the sandwiches were at a reasonable price were rather dry - cheese and chutney/pickle and crisps at 80p. Good selection of plants to buy in the plant area.

Hi just seen the reply to your question. You CANNOT enter Nymans via the shop. I'm afraid you need to pay an entrance fee or join the NT.
