This parkland is a beautiful place to walk. My dad used to take my kids there and now I realise why it was so popular - I can't believe I have not been before

I love bringing my 4 year old here and going on a nature walk. The park is also brilliant for children. Onsite free toilets which is a plus. The only minus would have to be paying for parking but there is parking down the road...More

when you first walk on to the top of the hill you can see for miles and when you walk round the areas are well signposted also its fantastic for sleighing in the winter snow.

This walk is well signposted and is in a beautiful setting. Some parts may be a bit steep and awkward for those with mobility problems. There is a cafe and a good playground for children..

Lovely park with or without a dog to walk nice to have a picnic and the children just love it so much for them to explore. It's a shame there isn't more dog waste bins! Some great views to be seen can be quite photographic.

We do have bins on site, and you can dispose of (wrapped) dog waste in any bin - we no longer have separate dog waste bins. The woodland is not an easy site to have access through, and the bins are heavy when they are...More

We took the dog here, different trails to take, lots of areas to have a picnic and the views were lovely.

A huge country park with a great children play area. It has clean toilets and maintained really well. I regularly visit here.

We wouldn't recommend it! As its a dog walkers paradise, there could be those who don't pick up after their pets, and also potential for broken glass etc.,

The site is a woodland and can be quite steep in places, paths are not tarmaced. Would depend really on age and ability of child, and level of competence. If you want something a little more level and surfaced, then either... More
