A pleasant place to visit . not very big but has character and some beautiful stained glass window s. Outside there is a burial ground which has the grave of the husband of Judi Dench who apparently once lived in the village.

Looked round on the Saturday and attended a service on the Sunday morning as part of our stay at NT Charlecote apartment (good but steep narrow spiral staircase and slightly 'tired' furniture). Very interesting in the context of Charlecote and the Lucy family with some...More

This is where the Lucys are entombed so it is worth having a look if you are in Charlecote. It is right next to the house.

Lovely church with beautiful stained glass windows. The Lucy chapel is of particular interest in that it accommodates the 17th century tombs of three successive Sir Thomas Lucy. Dame Judy Dench and her husband lived in Charlcote and Michael is buried in the churchyard.

We popped into this Church as it was near the Hotel and it was raining. It has lovely architecture and amazing stained glass windows. Judi Dench's husband Michael is buried in the churchyard and judging by the lovely red roses on the grave I think...More

Staying in Charlecote Pheasant Hotel this church is just across the road alongside the National Trust property. The entrance to the church is at the back away from the road which we presume dates back to olden days when the people from the big house...More
