This is run as,a "local" pub and keeps, that same simple pub atmosphere. Some good guest ales. Great staff. Quiz every other Wednesday night. If you just want to go to the pub and chat, then this is the place to go.

A great old bar, with good beer and ... ... conversation! Always nice to walk into a room where you can lean on the bar, enjoy a good pint, and put the world to rights without competing with the house music system.

I have lost count how many times I have been to this pub over the years. I have always enjoyed the local friendly atmosphere but I have to say the current landlord is the most miserable that I have ever encountered in any pub. He...More

This is a traditional pub set in a residential area, on a main road. Lots of car parking if you need it. Selection of real ales. Clean toilets. Good local pub.
