Visited last Thursday hoping to be inspired! Not particularly welcoming initially when we asked to taste some of the cheeses. After a while the lady "warmed" and found some cheese ready cut in bags for us to try - it was all so very reluctant...More

We visit here quite often to buy cheeses made on the premises and have a tea or coffee. Generally we’ll also have a cheese scone with cheese and chutney and, if the weather is good, sit outside. We particularly like the Hadrian cheese containing caraway...More

As you expect this is a early great place to visit if you love cheese, the restaurant is also very good - try the cheese soup.

We came here randomly when we spotted a sign for the place. The menu was really nice, with some lighter foods but a good selection of more substantial specials to try. I had the cheesy pasta bake and my partner had the cottage pie. His...More
