Full of history and well worth a visit. Whilst there stop off at Cloud 9 (little cafe in the main foyer area). Meet the team who work there they are really friendly and their food is very good value.

Fascinating history of early flying led by an enthusiastic team of volunteers. Their knowledge and love of the subject is contagious! There is something for every member of the family, young or old. A jewel not to be missed.

London Croydon Airport was the UK’s international airport, the building is the first ever purpose built terminal building, it was designed so right there was no need for any adjustment. Free parking is available on site. The 119 and 289 bus route is right outside.

This is a fascinating insight into the early days of passenger aviation. Very much recommended, but do check for opening times. At time of writing, it is only open on the first Sunday of every month.

Having heard about this place for several years, I finally had the first Sunday of the month free, so made my way over. You walk under a plane to get to the entrance, which was quite cool. Get inside, sign in and get a sticker,...More
