We are a small, family owned childrens farm, which has been operating for over 30 years. We have lots of friendly farm animals, mostly undercover so weather does not cause any problems, we also have The Big Play Barn on site, which is a newly built indoor soft play centre. The Big Play Barn has its owe review page on trip advisor and you can look at their web page and facebook for more info.

The farm is Ideal for all visitors who love animals and wish to have close contact with them. Plenty of handwashing facilities, ample free parking and activities throughout the day.

The main daily activities include holding a baby chicken and bunny, go on a egg hunt to find a freshly laid egg from the Hen House, sit on the pony or shire horse! We also run the tractor and trailer ride everyday and children get a bucket of feed for the animal (except horses). There are extra activities that we put on thoughout the year and we also put on special events days so look out on facebook page and on our webpage for more info.

On our farm we have falconary centre which puts on displays everyday (weather dependant) and we breed our Shire Horses in our Shire Horse Centre.

All the activities are included in the farm admission price

Great value day out, took our 10 mth old baby for a first experience of a farm visit. At first we thought the entrance was a little pricey, but it was well worth it. Much more to do than we expected and spent the entire day there. I would advise bringing a picnic, as our experience of the cafe food... More

This is an excellent alternative venue for a children's party, very popular, was surprised to see as many people who were there last Sunday ( 10.15 am ), thanks to farmer Ann who guided us round with information and food to feed the animals, all the children enjoyed it together with the adults, nice and warm in the barn where... I loved everything about this farm and cannot wait to return. A nice variety of animals, children can take in various activities for all ages and there is a tractor ride for all the family to enjoy. Afterwards there is a indoor play area with a cafe. Play area is one of the best I've been too and the cafe... More

I went along with my daughter and grandson for a day out. We loved the place. All of the animals were really well looked after with fresh, warm bedding, clean water and food and the Guinea pigs and rabbits especially, had good areas to run. The staff were very friendly and helpful and all of the facilities were clean and... More

This is a fabulous place for all the family. Have been many times over the years with my children when small and older. Lovely interaction with the animals. Great in spring when can get to bottle feed the goats. Would recommend for all ages.

Took my nephew here and he had a good time, the staff were quite good and all of the facilities were reasonable. Better than some similar places and a reasonable place to visit

Visited with my small children a number of times now & always good. Had a birthday party here ourselves as well as visiting a number of others. The kids love it & never tire of it. Farm is good as is the play Barn next door. Lots to do rain or shine. Would recommend.

My three year old loved every bit of it. Plenty to do to keep the kids entertained. To be fair the adults were also suitably entertained. Go!

Brilliant totally loved it. Staff were helpful and friendly. Animals looked healthy and well cared for. Not overly expensive and if you combine with the soft play it can be a full day out. Food reasonable cost and quality for what it is, chips burgers etc. Plenty of benches for picnics and good toilet and hand-wash facilities. Tractor ride was... More
