£7.50 gets you into this beautiful castle lit purely by candle light...You tour the rooms and learn of the Castles history and its reliance on candles then gas and eventually electricity. A great value couple of hours only held once a year so always popular..for £7.50 you would be potty to miss it... BE AWARE however lots of stairs and... More

We visited on the last day of the half term holiday, and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! We parked on the jolly sailor car park (£1.50 all day) and walked through the castle grounds which was a very pleasant walk. £7 per adult and £4.50 for my 12 year old. As it was half term and nearly Halloween the castle had staff... More

We went to tamworth castle after we google castles in stafford and didn't realise tamworth had one. We researched it and found that it had special events on around Halloween. The castle is lovely and has plenty of mix of Norman medieval and later years that in itself was interesting. What really made it was the staff who being volunteers... More

This is no Warwick castle, it is not large and imposing with extensive grounds, it is quite small but well kept and very well thought out, there are lots of information stations for adults and children alike, and dressing up stations too - its only my...
