Very friendly, helpful staff. Equipment was good & safety was ensured. Slightly difficult postcode, so look out for the sign. Thoroughly recommend.

This venue is an amazing facility for families, groups n solo days out. Located in the heart of the Peak District and surrounded by natural beauty. If you like or wish to try a water sport activity this is a must.

Good place for families with children.picnic area ,playground with swings etc. loads of walks round lake.Take dogs on leads.Cafe on site.B.b.q. area - cook your own food! Downfall - pay and display carparking.

We visited here on two occasions. Our first walk was on the short trail, the red 1.5 mile route but it seemed longer than the signs indicated. Perhaps we missed a turning. We enjoyed the walk. A later return involved our 6 year grandson enjoying...More

Had a fantastic afternoon tea in the waterview restaurant, couldnt fault the food (delicious!) Or the friendly service. 10 out of 10 all round. Will definitely return!!

Went with a few mates, was an overcast day. But the water was warm in a wetsuits, boards were very decent. Great value for money. Would recommend to anyone regardless of ability/experience. Staff were super friendly and helpful.

nice cafe but with expensive prices. nice area for walks around the reservoir where the water sports are held and a nice cafe, information centre and gift shop etc
